As most of you know already I am constantly getting comments on my extremely long hair. Unfortunately as of lately most of those comments are around the fact that my hair has been so damaged. From hot tools to hair dye my hair has more than drawn the short end of the stick already this summer.
I am always trying out a different combination of products to try and find the one that works the best in my unruly hair. The ingredient that seems to be showing the most results as of lately is Moroccan Argan Oil.
In any form this stuff has so many different beneficial factors to it. It isn't only wonderful for achieving super soft skin but it also helps in giving you that manageable, soft beautiful hair as well!
I was one of the lucky chosen ones to receive a jar of Organic Morocco Argan Oil Hair Treatment Mask. It is from the company Pure & Essential Minerals. If the name is familiar to you I recently reviewed a mud mask from their line that is to die for!
The first thing I noticed after using this product is how soft my hair actually was. If felt amazing to go from a straw like texture to that of one that felt almost like silk!. The picture shared below is not actually of my hair, but it shows you what I was lucky enough to experience from using this product!
The trick to using this product is to leave it on your hair for a longer amount of time. Typically 10 - 15 minutes will give you stellar results, however, if your hair is anything like mine & very "thirsty" I would recommend leaving it on a little bit longer to drink in all that amazing goodness!
My daughter decided to try this out during her bath tonight to see what I was talking about and she loved the results. She played with her hair all the way up until she fell asleep for the night.
An added bonus if you will is that when you purchase this product you are actually supporting Fair Trade Berber Women's Cooperatives in the Argan District of Morocco. Now that is a cause to get behind for sure!
All in all I would recommend this product to any woman that is struggling with dry and damaged or unruly hair. It is like a miracle balm for sure & definitely one that is going to be kept on hand for when my daughter and I need a little hair pick me up!
